The Results

Pulled that one right out of my Assiniboia! Winner winner! In my race preview, I thought Nikkitysplit was the best:

Nikkitysplit is a first-time-starter who looks to be having good workouts and gets a good jockey (+ROI of $2.74). 3-1 looks better here than the lower odds of the first two horses highlighted, but I could see Nikkitysplit being the post time favorite if the public doesn’t mind taking a shot on a newbie.

That was beginner’s luck for sure, but a win nonetheless. Nikkitysplit went off as the post time favorite at 4/5 odds with a nice home stretch kick past the rest of the field.
